This page collects the support channels and beta notes App Store reviewers and beta users need before installing Clevernotes.
1. Get Help
- App issues and product feedback: Email feedback@clevernotes.ai. If possible, include the platform, app version, device model, operating system version, and what you were doing when the issue happened.
- Beta access and general questions: Email hello@clevernotes.ai.
- Privacy, export, and deletion requests: Email privacy@clevernotes.ai.
- iOS TestFlight feedback: You can also send feedback through TestFlight. Avoid attaching sensitive notes, screenshots, or recordings unless they are needed for the report.
2. Private Storage And Recovery
Clevernotes encrypts private content on a trusted device before it syncs through Clevernotes cloud storage. Trusted devices hold the keys needed to read private notes locally, and the app supports a 24-word recovery key.
If you lose every trusted device and your recovery key, Clevernotes cannot recover your private notes for you. Keep your recovery key somewhere you can access later, and do not send it to Clevernotes support.
3. Meeting And Recording Guidance
Meeting capture and voice features require microphone permission. Meeting recordings, transcripts, summaries, speaker labels, and related AI fields can be saved in your account so you can review and search them later.
You are responsible for getting any consent required before recording other people. Laws and workplace policies vary by location and context.
4. Known Beta Limitations
- Clevernotes is a beta product, so sync, capture, search, and AI workflows may change as the product evolves.
- The browser extension is still in development. Browser-extension references in the privacy policy describe the intended surface as it ships.
- Shared Spaces are in beta. Space owners approve join requests, and removing a member rotates keys for future content only.
- AI features require cloud processing for transcription, vision, summaries, Sparks, and assistant responses. Private Storage protects what Clevernotes keeps in cloud storage; it does not prevent selected content from being sent to an AI service for a request you initiate.
- Account deletion and data requests can be requested by email while in-app account-management controls continue to expand.
